Özet:

The purpose: "Golden ratio" is a ratio used in dental medicine for many years. In particular, this rate is based on obtaining aesthetic result in restorations in the previous area. The aim of this study is to assess the relationship between the proportions between the main front teeth and the gold proportion of students who are trained at the Faculty of Dentistry. Tools and Methods: This study was measured from the upper neck of 85 students who studied at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the University of Atatürk. The measurement was achieved by the model. The measurements required for the gold ratio were made through these models. The percentage of maxils in the front teeth was compared to the percentage of gold. Results: The data obtained was analyzed through the t-test. The results of the analysis found that the data (1,249) was significantly different from the gold ratio (1,618). (p<0,05) Result: The fact that the data we obtain is different from the gold ratio does not mean that these individuals do not have an aesthetic dental structure. It is more important to evaluate the parts that make the face together. The aim of this study, the evaluation of the relationship between the golden proportion and the proportion of maxiller anterior teeth in students of dentistry. Material and Methods: In this study, taken impression from maxilla of 85-students educated in Atatürk University, Faculty of Dentistry. The model was made with a dental stone. Necessary measurements for gold proportion were made on these models. The proportions of maxiller teeth were compared with gold proportions. Results: The data was analyzed with t-test. The results (1,249) are found significantly different from gold proportion (1,618). (p<0,05) Conclusions: The difference between the results we found and the golden proportion isn't meaning these people haven't got aesthetic teeth structure.
