Psikolojik zengin yaşam işgörenlerin bakış açılarını değiştiren ve farklılaştıran tecrübelerden ve duygulardan oluşmaktadır. Psikolojik zengin yaşam seviyesi yüksek olan işgörenler yaratıcılık, iletişim becerileri gibi otel işletmelerinde önemli olan yeteneklerine artı değer katabilmektedir. Kişilik özelliklerine göre her bireyin olaylara ve olgulara yaklaşımı farklılaşabilmektedir. Böylece bireylerin düşünceleri, duyguları ve yaşam içerisinde tecrübeleri farklı düzeylerde olabilmektedir. Bu kapsamda araştırmanın temel amacı işgörenlerin kişilik özelliklerinin psikolojik zengin yaşama etki düzeyini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın amacı kapsamında çalışmanın evrenini Antalya’daki otel işletmelerindeki işgörenler, çalışmanın örneklemini ise Antalya’daki 5 yıldızlı otel işletmelerinde çalışan işgörenler oluşturmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda hazırlanan anket formu Antalya’da 5 yıldızlı otel işletmelerindeki işgörenlerine yargısal örnekleme tekniğiyle 10-15 Şubat 2022 tarihleri arasında uygulanmış ve 390 anket formuna ulaşılmıştır. Gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucunda dışadönüklük, deneyime açıklık, sorumluluk ve duygusal dengelilik kişilik özelliklerinin psikolojik zengin yaşamı anlamlı etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Uyumluluk kişilik özelliğinin ise psikolojik zengin yaşam üzerinde bir etkisi olmadığı belirlenmiştir.
Psychological rich life consists of experiences and emotions that change and differentiate the perspectives of employees. Employees with a high psychologically rich life can add value to their skills, which are important in hotel businesses, such as creativity and communication skills. According to personality traits, each individual's approach to events and phenomena may be different. Thus, the thoughts, feelings and experiences of individuals in life can be at different levels. In this context, the main purpose of the research is to determine the level of influence of the personality traits of the employees on their psychologically rich life. Within the scope of the purpose of the research, the universe of the study is the employees in the hotel enterprises in Antalya, and the sample of the study is the employees working in the 5-star hotel enterprises in Antalya. The questionnaire form prepared in this direction was applied to the employees of 5-star hotel businesses in Antalya between 10-15 February 2022 with the judicial sampling technique and 390 questionnaires were reached. As a result of the analyzes carried out, it was concluded that the personality traits of extraversion, openness to experience, responsibility and emotional stability significantly affect the psychologically rich life. It has been determined that the personality trait of agreeableness has no effect on the psychologically rich life.
