ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN BEDEN EĞİTİMİ DERSİ SPORTMENLİK DAVRANIŞLARI

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin beden eğitimi dersindeki sportmenlik davranışlarını cinsiyet, aile tutumu, sınıf düzeyi, lisanslı olarak spor yapma durumu ve spor dallarına göre incelemektir. Araştırma tarama modelindedir. Araştırma örneklemini, Antalya ilindeki ortaokullarda öğrenim gören 217 kız 154 erkek olmak üzere 371 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin 178’i değişik spor dallarında lisanslı olarak spor yapmakta, 193’ü ise spor yapmamaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Koç (2013) tarafından geliştirilen “Beden Eğitimi Dersi Sportmenlik Davranışı Ölçeği” ve kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; kız öğrencilerin sportmenlik davranış puan ortalamaları erkek öğrencilere göre, demokratik aile tutumu sergileyen ailelerinin çocuklarının uygunsuz davranıştan kaçınma ve sportmenlik puan ortalamaları serbest aile tutumu sergileyen öğrencilere göre daha yüksek bulunmuştur p<0,05). Bireysel spor yapan öğrencilerin uygun davranış sergileme ve sportmenlik puanları takım sporu yapanlardan daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Öğrenim görülen sınıf ise sportmenlik davranışını etkilememektedir. Sonuç olarak öğrencilerinin sportmenlik düzeyleri değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterebilmektedir.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the sporting behaviors of high school students in the body education course according to gender, family attitude, class level, the status of sporting licensed and the disciplines of sport. The research is in the screening model. The research sample consists of 371 high school students, including 217 girls and 154 men, who studied in the secondary schools in Antalya. 178 of the students are licensed in different sports, and 193 are not athlete. The research has been used as a data collection tool by Koç (2013) developed "Body Training Course Sportmanism Behavior Scale" and personal information form. As a result, the average sports behavior scores of girls students compared to boys students, the average avoidance and sports behavior scores of children of their families showing a democratic family attitude were higher than the average students showing a free family attitude p<0,05). Students who do individual sports have a higher performance and athletic score than those who do team sports (p<0,05). The classroom that learns does not influence the sporting behavior. As a result, the level of sportsmeness of students can vary according to variables.

The purpose of this study was to investigate secondary school students’ levels of sportspersonship behaviors according to gender, family attitude, grades and sports they have done. Screening method was applied in this study. Participants were 371 secondary school students (217 female, 154 male) in Antalya. 178 students do different sports with a licence and 193 of them do not. Personal information form prepared by researchers and “Sportspersonship Behavior Scale in Physical Education Course developed by Koç” (2013) were used in order to collect data. According to the results of the analysis, the mean of females’ sportspersonship behavior values is higher than males’. The means of avoidance from negative behavior values and sportpersonship values were higher in participants raised in a democratic family rather than those raised in free-range families (p<0.05). According to sports, realization of positive behavior and sportspersonship values were noted higher in participants doing individual sports than participants doing team sports (p<0.05). However, grades of participants did not have any effect on sportspersonship behavior. In coclusion, the sportspersonship levels of the students may differ according to the variables.
