It is known that hesitations about vaccines are increasing worldwide. These hesitations are likely to become an important public health problem in the future. Scientific studies carried out in order to contribute directly or indirectly to the improvement of the health level of the society are important. In this direction, the research was carried out to examine the effect of vaccine literacy level on vaccine hesitancy of individuals who are candidates to be health workers. In this study, quantitative research method was used, it is descriptive in type. In the research, vaccine hesitancy scale and vaccine literacy scale was used. In the research, 507 students of the Faculty of Health Sciences were reached through convenience sampling. The data collected by the online survey method were analyzed in the computer environment through the SPSS program.As a result of the research, there was no significant difference between gender, age, total income, class and vaccine hesitancy and vaccine literacy, but a significant difference was found between departments and vaccine hesitancy and vaccine literacy. In addition, a low-level positive and significant relationship was found between vaccine literacy and vaccine hesitancy. Similarly, it was concluded that vaccine literacy had a significant and positive. It is recommended to conduct similar studies on a larger sample.
