This study was designed with the purpose to explore changes in age level, if any, while achieving physical and cognitive developmental milestones (PCMs) during infancy across two generations. It was also aimed to find out factors associated with this change in age related to different PCMs. A qualitative research design was used to carry out this study. To conduct the focus group, 20 grandparents and parents (10 each) were approached. Semi structured questionnaire was formulated to keep the discussion in context being investigated. The audio recorded data was transcribed, analyzed, coded and themes were derived. The findings revealed that changes across two generations have occurred and are manifested behaviorally. The participants responses indicated that the infants of generation II attained the milestones at an early age than the infants of generation I. Moreover, parental education, interactional time with infants, usage of internet, enriched environment for learning etc., were found to be the correlates of early achievement of physical and cognitive development during infancy.
