Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma (LELC) is commonly seen in the nasopharynx, stomach, salivary gland and thymus and is mostly associated with Ebstein-Barr virus (EBV). It is one of the very rare malignancies of the breast with its unique histological pattern and massive lymphocyte infiltration into the stroma. LELC of the breast shows similarities with medullary carcinoma in terms of macroscopic, microscopic and clinical features. Immunhistochemical staining with cytokeratin and lymphocytic markers should be performed to distinguish between lymphoma and epithelial invasive breast carcinoma. They are thought to have a better prognosis than invasive ductal and lobular carcinomas. LELC of the breast is very few in the literature and should be defined as a special pathological variant of breast cancer. In this article, we aimed to discuss a case of breast LELC that we detected in a 67-year-old female patient, on the basis of literature data.
