The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of school counselors on distance education activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study group of the research consists of 14 school counselors. This study was designed as a case study from qualitative research methods. A semistructured interview form prepared by the researchers was used as a data collection tool and the data were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the findings, psychological counselors carried out distance education activities during the epidemic such as consultation, informing about Covid-19 and promoting higher education institutions. The psychological counselors reported advantages of distance education activities such as flexibility and economy in terms of time and space disadvantages such as difficulties in communication, equipment deficiencies, low participation and difficulties in assessment. While conducting distance education activities, problems such as insufficient technological device of the student, access problems, restriction of movement, deficiencies in evaluation, interaction difficulties, loss of motivation in students were encountered. While school counselors make suggestions such as ensuring that all students have access to technological devices for distance education activities, involving the parents more in the process, planning seminars for teachers and parents they provided predictions that distance education services will continue to be used after the pandemic.
