R&D (Research and Development) discussions, which are defined as the source of new products, new production techniques, new information and new technologies by increasing the information capacity, have been evaluated in growth models in the contemporary literature. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the change in R&D expenditures on other macroeconomic indicators besides economic growth. Thus, in this study, the effects of R&D expenditures on high technology product exports, total export, current balance and economic growth were analyzed with the help of panel causality and panel VAR Tests under the cross-sectional dependence by using the data of 2000-2016 period for the selected 10 OECD countries. In this context, the causality relationship between these variables was determined; The findings were supported by impact-response functions and variance decomposition tests.
