The aim of this study is to determine how often physical education and sports department students use computers and related software for educational purposes. Based on the findings of the research, suggestions towards effective use of computers in physical education classes are made. Datas in research adapted by researcher to the Physical Education and Sport Department and applied as a questionnaire “The Computer Using Sufficiency Of Physical Education And Sports Department Students”. Research applied total 160 university students who are studying at the Sakarya University Faculty of Education Physical Education and Sport Department 2005-2006 education year. For the datas of research SPSS 10.0 statistical programme has been used; for the class variable ANOVA for the other variables t-test applied. Physical Education and Sport Department’s Students’ computer using sufficiency have been observed; the students who have the computer at home and use the computer laboratory use lots of computer programme menus excessively meaningful at the p<0,005 levels. Based on the results of the research at the Physical Education and Sport lessons some suggestions about computer using sufficiency have been offered.
