Eğitim, felsefi akımlarla yakın ilişki ve etkileşim içindedir. Felsefeler, eğitimi hem program hem de yönetimi bağlamlarında etkiler. Eğitim felsefesini etkileyen akımlar vardır. Bu akımlardan en önemlileri arasında idealizm ve realizm yer almaktadır. İdealist ve realist felsefenin en önemli temsilcileri, Antik Yunan’da yaşamış iki büyük filozof olan Platon ve Aristoteles’tir. Çalışmada idealist ve realist felsefelerin eğitimle ilgili benzerlik ve farklılıkları tartışılmıştır. Bu amaçla iki felsefenin tarihsel geçmişlerine yer verilmiş; ardından benzerlik ve farklılıkları ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışma alanyazın taramasına dayalı bir çalışmadır. İdealist felsefeye göre bilgi insan zihnindedir. Eğitim bireyi ideale ulaştırmalıdır. İnsanı olması gerektiği gibi eğitmeyi amaçlar. Bilgi doğuştan gelir. Realist eğitim felsefesi ise nesnel bir eğitimi savunur. Araştırma, gözlem, deney gibi yöntemlere yer verilmelidir. İki felsefenin ortak kimi nitelikleri ise şu biçimde özetlenebilir: Toplumun eğitimi önceliklidir. Öğretmen merkezlidir. Çalışmada, İdealist ve realist felsefelerin öğretim programının ögeleri amaç, içerik, öğretim süreci ve ölçme ve değerlendirme boyutlarında daha detaylı irdeleneceği araştırmalar önerilmiştir.
Education is in close relationship and interaction with the philosophical flows. Philosophy influences education in both program and management contexts. There are strings that influence the education philosophy. The most important of these movements are idealism and realism. The most important representatives of idealist and realistic philosophy are Platon and Aristotle, the two great philosophers who lived in ancient Greece. The study discussed the similarities and differences in education between idealist and realistic philosophies. For this purpose, the historical history of the two philosophies was placed; then the similarities and differences were revealed. The work is based on the scan of the area. According to the idealist philosophy, knowledge is in the human mind. Education should be ideal. He wants to educate people as they should be. Knowledge comes from birth. The realistic education philosophy, however, supports objective education. Methods such as research, observation, experiment should be included. Some of the two philosophies can be summarized as follows: education of society is a priority. The teacher is centered. In the study, research proposed that idealist and realistic philosophies will be more detailed in the objects of the curriculum, content, teaching process and measurement and evaluation dimensions.
