Strategic management has primary important for companies and relates decision making about future orientation of organizations and implementation decisions. Effectiveness on selecting right strategies and implementation for companies provide organizational success. Strategic analysis process includes to collect and assess knowledge both internal and external environment. Air transportation sector is one of the most growing sector and privatization of airports has increased their interests to catch opportunities in new sector for companies. In this paper, case of T.A.V. company will be examined. It recognized changes of aviation sector and utilized opportunities from privatization of airports. It succeed on strategic planning and strategic implementation. The ten airports of T.A.V. are comprised of four airports in Turkey, two in Georgia, two in Tunisia and two in Macedonia. Among the seven service of T.A.V. Airports there are; T.A.V. Security, HAVAŞ Ground Services, BTA Food&Drink, ATÜ Duty Free, T.A.V. O&M, T.A.V. Information Technologies, and the recently established TGS (a Ground Service Company in partnership with THY) T.A.V. has achieved success by implementing a unique business model that is based on both horizontal and vertical integration. T.A.V. not only designs, manages and operates its airports, but also offers important services such as duty free and regular retail outlets, passenger and aircraft ground handling, food and beverage services, aviation security, airport IT systems etc. No other airport operator around the world has implemented this type of business matrix structure, which leads to significant operational and financial synergies.
