In the present study the relationship between pre-school teachers’ and pre-school teacher candidates’ informed choices of teaching profession and their attitudes towards teaching are investigated. 200 pre-school teachers and 278 pre-school teacher candidates form the sample of the study. It is found that the pre-school teachers’ and pre-school teacher candidates’ attitudes towards profession is at medium-level. The relation between the value sub-dimensions and total attitude scores of pre-school teacher’s and pre-school teacher candidates’ informed choices of teaching profession and their attitudes towards teaching are at high-level, positive and meaningful. However, regarding sub-dimensions of love and harmony, a negative and meaningless relation is determined.
