This study was conducted in order to determine the effect of computer assisted instruction in science education on the success of students. The study was conducted in the spring 2010-2011 term in Bingöl over two primary schools 7th grade students. In the study, one class of 7th grade was chosen randomly and they were designated as control and experimental group. The control group was instructed "Structure of Atom" subject, experimental group computer assisted instruction. The software employed in the study was prepared with Meb Vitamin and Fen Okulu the researcher to teach "Structure of Atom" subject in instruction of sciences. To analyze the data obtained through pre and post tests, t-test was implemented. It was found out that computer assisted instruction is a more effective way in increasing the students ' success.
