The use of credit cards are analyzed and present regulations are evaluated. The sectoral volume of credit cards and the impacts of the financial crisis are described. The regulations that are arranged during the crisis period aim to lessen the negative outcome over the consumers. The banks can restructure the credit card loans and sell them to asset management companies with different financial products or raise the funds from abroad through securitization.
