In this study, we discuss developing corporate governance education and practices, examine the place of corporate governance courses in accounting programs in Turkey, and measure the students’ perception on this issue. Statistical analysis results of this study indicate that universities play the important role of information source for corporate governance. In addition, students who have taken corporate governance courses have a more clear opinion in most of the propositions in the survey, and a higher perception of corporate governance compared to other students who have not taken these courses. It was also determined that female students have a higher perception of corporate governance than male students.
