Mass media play an important role in social transformations and relationships. These tools are used from time to time to inform individuals and societies, as well as to propagandize political actors. This study, limited to the 20th century, deals with how the radio, one of the most important communication tools of the time, was used for propaganda purposes. In this context, Hitler Germany and the Cold War process are described since the Bolshevik Revolution. This study, which aims to determine how the radio, which fulfills the function of propaganda, is evaluated in terms of decision makers, together with the Bolshevik Revolution, which laid the groundwork for the formation of a bipolar world order, was also taken into account in research conducted on the effects of mass media. In this context, the mainstream communication studies and approaches of the Frankfurt School theorists are mentioned. As a result of the study, radio was extensively used by the Hitler Germany, US and Soviet Russia to propagate their own ideas.
