The aim of this study is to measure the relationship between the financial awareness of the individuals and investor behavior and examine this relation from the behavioral point of view. For this purpose, firstly an experimental group was established to answer questions about financial awareness levels and investor behaviors. The obtained information was evaluated together with demographic characteristics and it was researched whether financial awareness influenced investor behavior or not. Financial awareness was measured using two different methods (financial literacy and financial awareness). The results show that the level of financial awareness is not determined by financial literacy and also investor behavior is not related with financial awareness which is measure by financial literacy. Moreover, results show that investor behavior associate with financial experience partly.
