Özet:

Dense immigration movemenets have began since the start of Syrian Civil War in March 2011. Large majority of Syrian refugees who took refuge in Turkey are under 18 years old children. World Health Organization has described child abuse as: “ All intended or unintended actions by an adult, society or counrty which endanger the child’s health, life and developpement; all actions and inactions that violates child’s rights” (WHO, 2006). Turkish State has dealed with health, sheltering,nutrition and education problemes of Syrian refugees in Turkey. However, the fact of the sexual abuse, imam mariage and child brides issues as we witness time to time in visual and written media cannot be ignored. This obligatory immigration movements brought into question the refugee rights, most especially refugee children’s rights;which necessites to take new actions. Immediate measures should be taken to prevent early marriages and child abuses. The priority of these measures and ameliorations must adress to protection and well being of children. In this sense, Child Monitoring Centers which operates as a new administration in Turkey, features units that monitors abused Syrian kids and seeks improvements for them. Our survey is based on to these Syrian refugee children, victims of abuse, whom are monitored by these new organisations of Child Monitoring Centers.
