The translations of the holy books have great importance in correctly determining the vocabulary of historical period. Because the believers’ sensitivity to religious issues and the fear of backsliding have made it possible for the vocabulary of the period to exist in the works in the most accurate way. In the period of Qarakhanid Turkish, where the Turks gave their first Islamic works, the most appropriate Turkish equivalents were found for the Islamic concepts and terms in the translation of the Qur'an. Thus, the existence of the Turkish Islamic vocabulary begins to emerge. There are four Qur'an translations in the Qarakhanid period: The Rylands copy, the TIEM copy, the Anonymous Tafsir (12th – 13th century) and the Uzbekistan copy. In this study, it will be suggested how the most beautiful names and attributes of Allah (Esmâ-i Hüsnâ) are translated into Turkish based on the text of Anonymous Tafsir or Central Asian Qur’an Translation (12th – 13th century) and will be compared with the other Qur'an translation copies of the period. These names will be examined morphologically and semantically.
