Mehmet Akif Ersoy is a poet who behaved according to the belief that an Artist should discuss any kind of problems that occurs in the society in his literary works. Accordingly, one of the subject that he pointed out at Safahat is the men with bad habbits and their family lifes. In our study, it is aimed to determine the elements that the poet regard as the reasons of destruction of family that is the smallest but the most important element of the society, especially in his poetical Works as Meyhane, Mahalle Kahvesi and Köse İmam. Concurrently it is tried to be presented the opinions of Mehmet Akif about the habits as potation, gambling; places related to them and family life.
