This article addresses the issue of determinants of child labor in Turkey. Especially, the relationship between child labor and parental education level, income and other household characteristics is investigated. The empirical analysis is based on the child labor surveys in Turkey. The analysis shows that child’s age, parental education level, number of children in the household, mother’s employment and region of residence (urban or rural) are important determinants of child labor.
