There is an important role of literature in child's language, concept, cognition, social and personality development. Children's literature and today's children's literature writers are developing the language skills, fantasy world, national and universal values, creativity power, love of the book, the child of the child. Today, one of the child literature authors who give qualified work is Ayşe Yamac. The aim of the study is analyzing the works of Ayşe Yamac in terms of language richness. This research is descriptive work so it was made based document analysis method. As the sample, the author's seven child novels “Ali'nin Öyküsü, Dedemin Gizli Defteri, İncili Kavak, Hayalet Peşinde, Bizim Evde Grev Var, Zümrüt Küpeler, Düşlerin Ötesi'” were studied. It was analyzed in there subheads the use of proverbs, idioms and pattern words i n terms of Turkish Language ri chness. I t was determined that was used 24 proverbs in totaly but twenty two proverbs are different each others, 1.220 idioms in totaly but 777 idioms are different each others and 355 patterns words but 151 are different each others in these works. It was determined that proverb, idiom and pattern word were placed 1590 times in seven works. According the findings, It was emerged that proverbs were used in limited but idioms and pattern words were used too much in seven works. Turkish education and teaching should be brought face to face with works which are prepared considering the developmental characteristics of children and are sufficient in terms of language richness. In this context, Ayşe Yamaç's works which are suitable for children in terms of Turkish language richness are suggested to teachers, families and children.
