The aim of the study is to investigate applicability of social studies curriculum from the teachers’ points of views. The knowledge, skills and values in the curriculum are supposed to be taught through activities that are designed to engage students actively in learning process. The study employs a survey research model. The data is collected through a questionnaire developed by the researchers. The subjects of the study were all the classroom teachers, 178 teachers, who were teaching to primary 4th-5th grade students. The questionnaire consisted of three parts. The first part intended to collect demographic data. The second part was about teachers views on the curriculum. The final part included questions about specific activities. The data was subjected to percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, t test and F test analysis in SPSS. The analysis of the data shows that teachers have positive opinions on both general structure and applicability of the curriculum.
