Özet:

Caucasian countries have a different position among the countries thats witched to free market economy with the fall of the USSR. In this study, the economic, political and cultural processes of the Caucasus region have been studied in connection with the past and present. Inaddition, a method that reveals the whole Picture by studying the economies of the regional countries one by one has been followed. The economic potential of the region can only be understood through examining its autonomousstates' economies in each period of time. Accordingly, factors that affect the processes such as the living styles and the culture of Caucasian people, have been taken into account. The targeted contribution of this article is to provide politics and strategies for a healthy conversion in the region by examining the Caucasusregion's economy as a whole, unlike in the past studies. Also, how the natural resources of the region will aid this economic process and how this aid can be increased have been considered. This aim has been brought to present by preserving relation to past practices and events.
