Competetiveness defines the institutions, which supply the sustainable growth of a country, policies and productivity level involving the product factors. In this study, it is aimed to analyse Turkey’s competetiveness and to reveal its strong and weak aspects. With this purpose, the factors determining the competetiveness are presented primarily in the study. In terms of these factors, Turkey’s competetiveness is analyzed by comparing with the other countries which have the same development level. It is used the data of ‘The Global Competitiveness Index’ used by World Economic Forum. The findings indicate that Turkey is especially advantageous in the fields of “Market size”, “Business sophistication” and “Goods market efficiency”. However, it is disadvantageous in the fields of “Labor market efficiency”, “Macroeconomic environment”, “Higher education and training” and “Technological readiness”.
