This study was done on the grade eight students attending seven primary schools in the district of Samsun. It examines the effects of ethical topics in the course of Religion Culture and Ethics on the ethical behaviors of the students. For this reason, one questionnaire of personal questions and one ethical behavior inventory were used. These questionnaires were administered to 213 girls and 230 boys, totally 443 stu-dents, who attended grade eight in primary schools in November, 2005. The sex, achievement in the courses, loving the course and its teacher or not, the techniques used in the teaching of the course and the degree of liking those methods or not, and the materials used in the courses were used as the independent variables in the study. It was found that those who were more successful in the general courses and the course of Religion Culture and Ethics, liked more the course and its teacher, liked more the methods and techniques used in the teaching of the course had significantly higher moral conduct points than others.
