Bu çalışmanın amacı, Adana’da yaşayan ve en az bir kez eko etiketli ve /veya organik ürün satın alma davranışı sergileyen tüketicilerin çevre konusundaki bilinçlerinin, eko – etiketli ve çevre dostu gıdalar için ödeme isteklilikleri üzerindeki etkisini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Ayrıca katılımcıların demografik özelliklerine (yaş, cinsiyet, gelir, çocuk sayısı ve medeni durum) göre çevre bilinçleri ile eko – etiketli ve çevre dostu gıdalar için ödeme istekliliklerinin arasındaki farklılıklar da incelenmiştir. Kolayda örneklem yöntemi ile yüz yüze anket formları aracılığıyla ulaşılan 428 (geçerli) denekten alınan veriler, SPSS programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda tüketicilerin çevre bilinci, eko – etiketli ve çevre dostu gıdaları satın alma davranışları üzerinde bir etkiye sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Çevre bilinci artan tüketicilerin, eko – etiketli ve çevre dostu gıda ürünleri satın almaya daha istekli olduğu görülmektedir. Cinsiyete göre her iki faktör için anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaz iken, bekar tüketicilerin evli tüketicilerden daha fazla çevre bilincine sahip oldukları görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to reveal the impact of consumers who live in Adana and once show the behavior of purchasing eco-labeled and/or organic products on their environmental awareness, eco-labeled and environmentally friendly food payment desire. It also studied the differences between environmental awareness according to the demographic characteristics of the participants (age, gender, income, number of children and civil status) and their willingness to pay for eco-taged and environmentally friendly foods. The data obtained from the 428 (transitional) examiners obtained through the easy sample method and face-to-face survey forms, were analyzed through the SPSS program. The results of the analysis found that consumers have an impact on environmental consciousness, eco-labeled and environmentally friendly food purchasing behaviors. The increasing consciousness of the environment seems that consumers are more willing to buy eco-labeled and environmentally friendly food products. While there is no significant difference for both factors by gender, it has been shown that single consumers have more environmental awareness than married consumers.
The aim of this study is, to discover the effect of consumer consciousness regarding the environment on the willingness to pay more for eco labeled or organic products in Adana region. Additionally, the study aims to reveal the differences among the demographics of the participants with regards to the environment consciousness and willingness to pay more for eco-labeled products. Convenient sampling and face to face survey methods been applied in order to gather the data and 428 valid surveys have been collected and were analyzed with SPSS program. The results show that the environmental consciousness of the consumers affects the purchasing behavior for eco-labeled and organic products. When the environmental consciousness of the consumers rises, they are more willing to pay for eco-labeled and organic products. There was no significant difference between the male and female consumers however the level of environmental consciousness of the single consumers were relatively higher than the married consumers.
