Purpose: This study was planned to assess the impact of the time of computer game playing on the quality of sleep, hand reaction speed and physical activity level. Tools and Methods: The study included a total of 61 individuals, including 31 (19E, 12K) and 30 (16K, 14E) who played games between 18-25 years of age. The ethical committee approved the work. The form was signed to all individuals informed as a volunteer. Individuals' gameplay times were classified as heavy, medium, light. The levels of physical activity were assessed by the International Physical Activity Survey and the quality of sleep by the Pitssburgh Sleep Quality Index and the hand reaction rate by the Nelson hand reaction test. Result: In our study, there was no difference between the level of physical activity and the quality of sleep compared to the individuals who played and didn’t play (p>0,05). But there was a difference when compared the speed of hand reaction (p<0,01). The person who played the game found a better hand reaction rate. There was a significant difference between the variety of games and the time of play (p>0.005). Discussions: It was found that the hand reaction speeds were better in individuals playing the game. The difference was not found when compared the levels of physical activity and the quality of sleep of the two groups. Playing computer games can improve the speed of hand reaction, but it can disrupt the quality of physical activity and sleep. However, the lack of difference between the level of physical activity and the quality of sleep in both groups indicates that young people are moving towards a sedanter life and their quality of sleep may also decrease. More on the individual playing different types of computer games, different assessment methods are needed to study.
