Özet:

It cannot be said that there is an adequate level of studies concerning the origin of the word in Turkish dialect. In ethymological studies, the words in the written language are generally treated and the words in the dialects are not mentioned. This study focuses on the structure of fifteen words found in Turkish dialects. Some of the words examined are archaic words that have been forgotten in Turkish written language: bernek, biniç, outla, order, eŋir, haflek, hayinseme-, hemicik/ hemicük, mayak, soyha/ soyka, kumaç, yordu-, yoşa-, yörpek, yüle-. Some of these words have already been addressed in various studies. Different opinions have been put forward about the structure of some of these words, and have been contributed to the views about the origin and structure of some words. Turkish dialect which has a rich vocabulary are of great importance for Turkish language studies.  The work to be done on the etymology of words in Turkish Turkish dialects will contribute to be resolved in the history of Turkish language, it will contribute to the elucidation of the structure of many words.
