Waste object that is known as useless part of the used substance has an important role in today's world. Factors such as the changes in the current period, the rapid depletion of natural resources and the requirement of additional resources has increased this object's prominence. Since 20th century, waste object ın many areas from industry to everyday life used has been used in the arts. This object that firstly was used in art movement of Cubism has been used in the formal education after a certain time. Because children produce new things by using waste objects, are in creativity effort with using them and are awareness about waste objects and the concept of recycle with using them, applications created with the waste objects in art education that develops the creativity feature are so much important for children. In this study we has emphasized the waste object as art object, the position of waste object in art education and the importance of waste object for the individual and society. The aim of this study is to examined effects and benefits of using waste objects in art education for children. The research is theoretical, domestic and foreign sources have been scanned, findings have been reviewed.
