The purpose of this study is to determine the achievement level of the targets of the social studies at the joint classes in the elementary school of B group (4 and 5 year). Field study covered 278 students and 57 teachers. Data was gathered by using survey questionnaire with teachers and multiple test with students. In the analysis of the data , percentage, aritmetics means, standard deviation and t-test were used. According to results obtained from this study, the achievement levels of the targets of the social studies are % 69.5 for classroom teachers and % 64.6 for students. It was determined that the achievement levels of the targets for social studies for teachers and students are similar. It was also found that there were a significant relationship between the citizenship group and economic grup in achieving the targets of social studies. Social grup and economic group in achieving the targets of social studies were differed from each other according to prelisans program teachers and lisans teachers. There were a significant differences between social grup and economic group in achieving the targets of social studies according to teaching experience. For example, teachers who have 12 years or less than 12 years teaching experience and teachers have 13 years or more than 13 years teaching experience were differed from each other in achieving the targets of social studies and economic studies.
