This study is a descriptive study about an HIV/AIDS prevention program,“Psycho-Education Program for HIV/AIDS”. The Psycho-Education Program for HIV/AIDS has eight approximately 90 minute sessions one day a week and included such subjects as information about HIV/AIDS, values related to sexuality, safe sex, use of condoms, and decisionmaking behaviours. The research tested the effectiveness of the program with 21 students in an experimental group and 23 students in a control group. In the analysis of data collected with the HIV/AIDS Information Form and the HIV/AIDS Attitude Inventory, two way analysis of variance is used for mixed measures. At the conclusion of the research it is determined that the knowledge and attitudes of students who participated in the Psycho-Education Program for HIV/ AIDS were positively affected and that this effect lasted a long time.
