The present study aims to find out the elementary school teachers’ organizational commitment in the city of Balıkesir, Turkey. The sample of this study is 470 teachers working in elementary schools in Balıkesir province in the 2017-2018 academic years. In order to collect data, Organizational Commitment Scale is used. In this study, the effect of organizational commitment which was handled in three factors as Affective Commitment, Normative commitment, and Low alternatives and Investments of Continuance Commitment on teachers’ gender, major, seniority, and education level. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with Lisrel, and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) with statistics program are conducted to analyze data. The results show that there are differences between gender and major of teachers on organizational commitment. On the other hand, there are no statistically differences between education level and seniority on organizational commitment in this study. Additionally, while Affective Commitment is significantly effect on gender and seniority, Normative commitment is significantly effect on major in this study.
