The press life of Honaz started in 1994 with “Honaz’ın Sesi (The Voice of Honaz)”, the first published newspaper. It has continued with the publication of “Honaz Haber (The Honaz News)” at the same year. These publications were followed by school magazines such as “Hisar (The Citadel)”, “Zeytindalı (The Olive Branch)” and “Cumhuriyet Kelebekleri (The Butterflies of Republic)” Moreover, In Honaz, an electronic bulletin called 'HMYO Newsletter' and two printed newsletters called, “Honaz Haber (Honaz News)” and “Atatürk’ün Sesi (Atatürk's Voice)” have been published.The Published newspapers, magazines and newsletters did not last long Honaz's closeness to Denizli, Honaz being a new district, and the absence of a printing press in the district were effective in the limited number of publications and their lack of longevity.Apart from these publications, there have not been any television and radio broadcasting along with online newspapers and magazines. Besides, there are no local press in terms of newspapers, magazines, bulletins and online journalism in Honaz at the present time. Even though the press life is historically new and the publication period and number is very limited, it is important that Honaz has brought up important names that have an impact on Turkish and Denizli press
