The characteristics of human - who are the most valuable resource in organization- such as hope, self efficacy, optimism and resiliency are the basis of positive psychological capital. Employee performance, which stated as the effort of the employee at the job, is very important issue for managers in the organization. Organizational silence is also a negative situation where communication breaks occur within the organization. The purpose of this study is presenting the effect of positive psychological capital on organizational silence and employee performance. For this purpose, a research was conducted on 427 private sectors employee in Balıkesir. According to the results, there is significant relationship between positive psychological capital and organizational silence and employee performance. According to research results, the increase in level of positive psychological capital affects employees performance in the positive direction. While the increase in the level of positive psychological capital negatively affects acquiescent silence and defensive silence, it positively affects the pro-social silence.
