Abstract:

The bilateral and multilateral relations between the study of Turkish languages in Central Asia and Turkology studies in Turkey have recently reached a new dimension and a qualitative change. As a sign of a new approach, the Comparative Turkish Lakhes Dictionary has been published in Ankara. About 30 years after the publication of this dictionary, the Turkistan Declaration was adopted. Because the field of philology is the broadest and most comprehensive field of human sciences, dictionary science has always been considered an interesting subject of this field. Our article provides data on historical and practical dictionary works, which are the common spiritual value of the Turkish languages. Especially 20. After information was given about the Turkish-Russian, Russian-Turkish and Kazakh-Russian, Russian-Kazakh dictionaries published in the early century, the opinion will be declared that these dictionaries should be re-published by completing the shortcomings. However, the life and work of Shemsettin Sami will be referred to, focusing on Kazak, Karakalpak and Russian works referring to his Kamus-i Turkish dictionary. Ahmed Vefik Pasha, in all Turkish languages, such as Shemsettin Sami, will be attracted to the importance of the work of scientists who have made an invaluable contribution to the dictionary and text research.
