Abstract:

Measurement of financial performance is important for every enterprise, from small-scale to large-scale. It can be said that this is much more important, especially for companies trading in financial markets. From here to work on the move, the financial performance of 43 holding and investment companies included in the BIST Holding and Investment Index, which is traded in Borsa Istanbul, was calculated by taking into account the 2000-2017 annual data. The company’s performance indicator used a total of 5 stock performance indicators, including price profit ratio, market value / book value ratio, profit share ratio per share, profit share yield ratio and profit share distribution ratio. The Entropic technique has been used to determine the weights of the criteria used in the study. Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) methods have measured the financial performance of companies. Spearman correlation analysis was conducted to determine the success of the results of the analyses and the relationship between the results. Spearman's correlation analysis found that there was a positive and strong relationship between the ARAS and the WASPAS method.
