Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common salivary gland tumor. Pleomorphic adenoma also known as benign mixed tumor. Most commonly affected site is the parotid gland. It may also occur in other major salivary glands (submandibular and sublingual glands), lacrimal glands and minor salivary glands. Pleomorphic adenoma arises as a painless, firm swelling, slowly growing in the oral cavity.
