Deposit banks, one of the most important institutions of the financial system, fulfill the function of intermediary between the institutions with surplus funds and those with a lack of funds. The aim of the study is to analyze the financial activities of three public, private and foreign-owned deposit bank groups operating in Turkey in the period of 2019-2021. The criteria importance levels to be used in the analysis of the financial activities of these groups were determined by the SV technique, which is one of the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques, and then the efficiency analysis was carried out using the CoCoSo technique. It has been concluded that privately owned deposit banks showed the best efficiency in the 2019-2021 period, while the worst efficiency was shown by foreign owned banks in 2019 and 2020, and publicly owned banks in 2021.
