Özet: Law of distribution is a branch of law arising from the intersection of contractual, commercial and competition law, covering all aspects of the sale, supply and distribution of goods and services from the production stage to the consumer. Even though about 30 years ago such concept remained unknown, today, especially in Germany, there are numerous legal works, extensive jurisprudence and many legal experts that specialize and practice in this field. In this study the focus is on the law of contractual distribution systems that have their roots mainly in judge-made case law and developed due to the necessities of economic life. Another focus is on competition law for distribution systems and marketing channels.
