At the same time, interpersonal communication has also been differentiated and, by leaving from the traditional structure, the possibilities of digital communication have become widely exploited. People have crossed their close surroundings and communicated with people far away, and the world has become a simple age of communication. In developed and developing countries, children spend the most time on the computer and the computer becomes their closest friends. In the use of digital media, the main attributes where participation is widely observed are social sharing sites. It is also known that there are a lot of children playing online games on the internet. The beginning of easy access to the internet both provides benefits in terms of digital gap and the misuse of the internet technology also brings its very negative effects on individuals, especially children. Children are exposed to very harmful content unconsciously while browsing on social media, and sometimes fall into the network of people who are pedophile. While they physically hurt themselves in order to comply with the violent guidelines by the games they play online, they sometimes end their lives. Due to a content he shares on the internet in the years of progress, he may become a digital criminal. The health problems of children who are unconscious of these dangers after using digital media have started to increase and have become one of the most important issues to be taken care of. It appears that there is little training necessary for their parents and children to be a good media reader and digital reader to protect their psychological, physical, social and cognitive health. In the context of this study, the effects of the use of digital communication on the health of children have been investigated. The study has been conducted on the beginning of the use of the internet at very young age and the participation of children in social media sites and online games, with examples from the world and our country that these uses have a very harmful impact on the health of children and what they are.
